San Diego Psychiatric Society

Mission Statement

The San Diego Psychiatric Society is a local medical specialty society. It is the district branch of the American Psychiatric Association and the California Psychiatric Association.  The physician members specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders and substance abuse.  The San Diego Psychiatric Society’s organizational objectives include the advancement and improvement of care for persons with mental illness through public information, education, and awareness programs and material.
